Amanda and Jimmy: On the loose at the 2011 NY Comic Con

It's Day One of the huge four-day 2011 New York Comic Con and paperfilms' Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti are on hand at the show's Artists Alley to meet and greet with their fans and promote their works, including a number of gorgeous new prints by Amanda. Come on down to the Jacob Javits Center and say "hi!" They're at table B1 in Artist's Alley. And if you can't make it, here's a look at what went down today.

Amanda and Jimmy arrive at Artists Alley.

Almost two seconds after the general public was admitted, an eager line of fans materializes from out of thin air while Amanda sets up her wares. (You can tell these dudes are here for the comics because not one of them is checking out A.C.'s bum.)

A.C. prepares to sign and sketch.

No phoniness here: Amanda totally grooving on the love from her fan contingent.

The fan contingent in question.

Jimmy sketches Jonah Hex.

Amanda sketches Batgirl.

Amanda draws The Fly for a fan. (Who knew that character even had fans? But, hey, to each his own.)

STAY TUNED FOR ONGOING COVERAGE OF THE PAPERFILMS CREW AT THE 2011 NY COMIC CON!
