Check out Amanda Conner's cover for 'Before Watchmen: Silk Spectre' #2!

What you see above is just a detail from Amanda's cover for the upcoming BEFORE WATCHMEN: SILK SPECTRE #2, and you can see an exclusive first look at the full piece over at io9. It accompanies an interview with series scribe Darwyn Cooke — the mega-talented storyteller behind the multiple award-winning DC:THE NEW FRONTIER and the equally and desrvedly lauded PARKER adaptations — in which he answers the burning question of "How does one write Watchmen comics without Alan Moore?" An illuminating read, it also clues readers in on how Amanda penciling SILK SPECTRE was one of Darwyn's conditions for accepting the project. The man clearly has taste on top of talent!
