Frank Tieri is an award winning writer working in comics, video games, animation and television. He has writen for Marvel's top selling fighting game of all time-- MARVEL VS CAPCOM 3-- as well as its follow-up, ULTIMATE MARVEL VS CAPCOM 3. He is also a writer for the upcoming ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN cartoon.

The ongoing information released on this project only serves to paint an intriguing picture fraught with its creators' signature raucous, "salty" sense of humor, as well as making note of Amanda stretching her already impressive artistic horizons by delving deeper into her animation-based influences to craft a new look for her work, so head here to get in on all the insanity.

USA Today looks at the upcoming 'Captain Brooklyn' project

Just announced at this past weekend's NY Comic Con, the upcoming project involving the Paperfilms crew, Captain Brooklyn, looks to be full of the rollicking madness that scribes Jimmy Palmiotti and Frank Tieri and visual alchemists Amanda Conner and Paul Mounts can so capably, scabrously, and hilariously craft. USA Today runs a rather in-depth look at the project here, and believe me when I say "rather in-depth." (Between you readers and me, I may be this blog's administrator and as such must exercise a certain modicum of objectivity, but I'm really dying to read this one so I can see Amanda's even more animation-influenced artwork. If that promo piece is any indication, it looks like she's really been set loose!)
